Clinical Trials Workshop
The PC4 Clinical Trials Workshop has been developed for PC4 members as an advanced workshop intended for investigators and research staff with experience in or currently working on cancer clinical trials in primary care. It provides an overview of the theoretical and practical considerations when designing and conducting clinical trials, including multicentre studies. The workshop focus is on primary care research methodology and includes practical and information sessions. Travel assistance to attend the one day workshop is available through PC4 upon request.
Our next workshop will be in May 2012
Concept Development Workshop
Capacity building and fostering collaboration are key activities for PC4, and effectively mentoring early and mid-career researchers will help us to achieve that goal. PC4 conducts Concept Development Workshops (CDW) for its members and promotes other training opportunities. The purpose of the CDW is to provide a forum for researchers with an interest in cancer in primary care to work together to develop new clinical trial concepts.
Our next workshop will be in May 2012
